Intimate marriage: Getting married at a notary's office in Montreal.

A dream wedding at the notary's office is totally possible! Your day is all yours, and you get to decide what it looks like. In this blog post, I'll tell you all about Orane and Frédéric's wedding and give you the best tips for planning your perfect day.

After their wedding was postponed due to Covid, Orane and Frédéric decided to go for an intimate wedding at the notary's office. Since they both love nature, it was important for them to celebrate their wedding with close family and friends, but also to connect their two homes: Montreal and the beautiful landscapes of Quebec. So, we all met up at their notary's office in downtown Montreal.

Little tip: Visit your notary before your wedding. There might be a chance to do the photo session outside. That's what happened for Orane and Frédéric. The notary's office overlooked a classic Montreal alleyway with vine-covered walls.

Surrounded by Frédéric's family and Orane's family on the phone, it was a ceremony full of emotions.

After the ceremony, we walked around the streets of Montreal to take some photos of the newlyweds.

After an intimate cocktail party in their backyard, we hit the road towards Tingwick in Central Quebec. They chose the treehouse at Magic Tingwick estate, about 2 hours from Montreal, to end their day beautifully. They picked this spot because they wanted to be surrounded by nature and have access to Quebec's best poutine. The one from Fromagerie Victoria.

When we arrived, we were amazed by their treehouse. We wanted to celebrate by opening champagne on the balcony. In their questionnaire, Orane and Frédéric mentioned they'd love to exchange their vows in complete privacy. So, surrounded by alpacas, rabbits, and black cats, they exchanged words full of emotion, love, and promises for this new chapter of their lives.

After these sweet and precious words, we finished this dream day at Fromagerie Victoria.

We ended up taking our last photo in the rain. A photo full of love.
